Since my recent skin flurry I have been doing a food elimination diet and one of those foods was dairy. But pesto is one of my families favourite pasta sauces so I had to find a way around that, and I have.
This sauce is so flavoursome and you don’t even miss the cheese.
- 150g toasted pine nuts
- 2 small bunches of basil
- 150ml GOOD olive oil
- 3 lemons, juiced
- Pop everything in a blender and blitz. Cook your pasta and toss in the sauce. Any remaining, jar it up and use it for another occasion.
