Homemade Coleslaw

This is my weakness – I love creamy, rich coleslaw. But there is usually something just not quite right about shop bought so it is well worth the time and effort of home made.


  • ½ of a white, hard head cabbage, crated


  • 1 white onion, grated


  • ½ carrot, grated


  • 3tbsp mayonnaise


  • 2tbsp salad cream


  • Seasoning


  1. Grate or finely slice all veg into a big bowl.
  2. Mix the mayo and salad cream together in a small bowl and then toss it onto the veg and mix. Now taste and alter the flavour according to taste. Add a little more of whichever you prefer.
