Smoky Beans

These are sooooo good! You can make them well in advance, in two easy moves and then eat them when you are ready!

  • 1tbsp oil

     

  • 5 spring onions, sliced

     

  • 1 red onion, diced

     

  • 2 cartons kidney beans

     

  • 1 carton cannellini beans

     

  • 1 carton black beans

     

  • 2 cartons chopped tomatoes

     

  • 2tbsp tomato puree

     

  • 2tbsp maple syrup

     

  • 1tbsp smoked paprika

     

  • 1tbsp Worchester sauce

     

  • 1tsp Dijon mustard

     

  • To serve – baked potatoes, rice, spring onions, grated cheese, chopped chilli

Directions

  1. Heat the oil and cook the onions until softening. Add all remaining ingredient and bring to a simmer. Eat with your choice of serving and topping.
