Cumin Carrot Dippers with Lemon hummus

I love a vegetable to dip and these are no exception. A great side or afternoon snack.

Serves 4

Oven 200c



  • 200g carrots, sliced in wedges
  • 1tsp sesame oil
  • 1tsp cumin seeds
  • 3tbsp hummus (homemade or shop bought)
  • 25ml water
  • Juice ½ a lemon
  • If you have it – pomegranate to dress


  1. Toss the carrots in the oil and seeds, spread on a tray and roast for 20minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, mix the hummus, water and lemon juice and set aside. Serve on a platter with dip.
