No Junk Muffin

This is my BREAKFAST/PACKED LUNCH go to. NO REFINED SUGARS, filled with wholemeal goodness and nut free SO KIDS CAN TAKE IT TO SCHOOL – whoop whoop.

Treat that’s GOOD FOR YOU!

Makes 14



  • 3tbsp oil
  • 4tbsp honey
  • 150g natural yogurt
  • 2 eggs
  • 6tbsp apple puree (use baby food – yes really)
  • 2 bananas, mashed
  • 200g wholemeal flour
  • 50g oats
  • 1.5tsp baking powder
  • 1.5tsp bicarbonate soda
  • 2tsp cinnamon
  • Small handful of berries – blueberries, raspberries, raisins
  • Optional – seeds or oats sprinkled on the top


  1. Mix all the wet in a bowl.
  2. Mix all the dry. And combine. Pour into your cases and slip into the oven to bake for 20-25minutes.
