The Best Chocolate Muffins

Moist, not too dense chocolate muffins that are even better the next day. And they couldn’t be easier to make!!

Makes 9



  • 250g plain flour
  • 2tsp baking powder
  • 1tsp baking soda
  • 2tbsp cocoa
  • 150g caster sugar
  • 150g chocolate chips (50g held over for sprinkling)
  • 300ml milk
  • 100ml rapeseed oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1tsp vanilla extract


  1. Mix all the dry ingredient together.
  2. Mix all the wet ingredient together.
  3. Combine and spoon into cases. Bake for 20minutes.
