Pear, walnut Salad

Clean fresh flavours work a dream with this salad.

Serves 4



  • 6 pears, halved and thinly sliced
  • 100g walnuts
  • 4 large handfuls of spinach
  • 250g purple grapes
  • Blue cheese
  • 2 avocados, diced
  • 3tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 4tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed


  1. Mix the oil, vinegar and garlic in a bowl.
  2. Layer up the salad on a platter or in dishes. Start with spinach, pear, avocados, grapes and scatter the walnuts and cheese.
  3. Lastly pour over the dressing and serve up immediately.
