Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

With a little bit of nuttiness and some fruity sweetness this is a perfect afternoon cake.


Serves 12


Oven 200c


  • 190g plain flour


  • 1tsp baking powder


  • 1/2tsp bicarbonate of soda


  • 1tsp ground cinnamon


  • 55g dark chocolate


  • 2 bananas mashed


  • 120ml almond milk


  • 4tbsp apple puree


  • 1/2tsp vanilla


  • 120ml maple syrup


  • 4tbsp peanut butter


  1. Preheat the oven and line a loaf tin with parchment.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together all the dry ingredient. In a separate bowl, mix all the wet ingredient.
  3. Combine and pour into the loaf tin.
  4. Bake for around 40minutes, placing tin foil over the top if it starts to brown too much. Bake until an inserted skewer comes out clean. Remove from the tin and leave to cool.
