Spiced Butterbean Stew

Packed with the gut goodness of miso and the enrichment of protein filled beans, this is a winner all round.


Serves 4


  • 1tbsp oil


  • 1 onion, diced


  • 3 garlic cloves, sliced


  • 2 cartons butter beans


  • 2 cartons chickpeas


  • 1/2tsp cumin


  • 1tsp mustard seeds


  • 2tsp paprika


  • 1tsp miso paste


  • 1tbsp cider vinegar


  1. Heat the oil in a pot and cook the onion and garlic until soft.
  2. Add all remaining ingredient and bring to a simmer for 20mins. Serve with rice or baked potato. Salad. And flat breads.
